Pool Mate's winter covers for in-ground pools are manufactured to protect your swimming pool all season long. Manufactured from high-strength polyehtylene material, these covers are impermiable to water keeping your pool clean until spring. Pool Mate covers consist of high-scrim material, (the number of threads per inch) which directly corelates to the strength of the cover material. The top of all the covers are treated to protect the material from damaging UV rays. The bottom of the covers are colored black, to help prevent algae growth.
